Bulgarian Election - 19 April 2026

                                                           ANNOUNCEMENT

                                                    regarding the Parliamentary Elections on April 19, 2026

​

Pursuant to Article 13, paragraph 5 of the Election Code, and item 11 of Decision No. 4445-NS dated February 19, 2026, of the Central Election Commission (CEC), concerning the conditions and procedures for establishing polling stations abroad and appointing their members, and in connection with Decision No. 4651-NS dated March 28, 2026, regarding the locations and number of polling stations abroad.

The Consulate General of the Republic of Bulgaria in Toronto is pleased to inform Bulgarian citizens residing in Canada that polling stations will be opened at the following locations:

Polling stations are established in accordance with Bulgarian legislation and with the assistance of the competent Canadian authorities.

 

The Consulate General encourages all Bulgarian citizens in Canada to exercise their right to vote and participate actively in the democratic process.

 

Additional information regarding election day procedures will be provided in due course through the official channels of Bulgaria’s diplomatic and consular missions in Canada.
